Privacy Policy
Freedom Compass Ventures LLC (“FCV,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the Business Feasibility Calculator and other tools that may be offered through the FCV Digital Asset Lab.
We designed these tools to collect as little personal information as reasonably possible.
Information entered into the calculator
The Business Feasibility Calculator asks you to enter business assumptions such as desired income, expenses, pricing, available working time, conversion rate, and lead volume.
These calculations are performed in your web browser.
FCV does not intentionally transmit these calculator inputs to FCV servers, store them in an FCV database, or include them in analytics events.
Please do not enter sensitive personal information into the calculator.
Website analytics
FCV uses Vercel to host the website and currently uses Vercel Web Analytics to understand how the site is being used.
Normal website and analytics information may therefore be processed by Vercel when you visit the site. This can include technical and traffic information associated with a website request, such as device or browser information and general location derived from an IP address.
FCV uses this information to understand site traffic, identify technical problems, and improve its tools. We do not intentionally include the financial or business assumptions you enter into the calculator in analytics events.
Information stored on your device
The calculator may store a small preference on your device so it can remember whether you selected light or dark mode.
This preference does not contain the financial or business assumptions you enter into the calculator.
Accounts, email, and payments
The Business Feasibility Calculator currently does not require you to create an account.
It does not currently use the calculator itself to collect your name or email address or to process payments.
If these capabilities are added in the future, this Privacy Policy will be updated as appropriate before those capabilities are relied upon.
Selling personal information
FCV does not sell the business or financial assumptions you enter into the Business Feasibility Calculator.
Third-party services
FCV currently uses Vercel for website hosting and Web Analytics.
Third-party service providers may process information according to their own terms and privacy practices when providing services to FCV.
Changes to this policy
FCV may update this Privacy Policy as its Digital Asset Lab tools change.
If a tool begins collecting materially different information—for example through user accounts, forms, email subscriptions, payments, cloud storage, or additional analytics—we will update the applicable privacy disclosures as appropriate.
The effective date at the top of this policy identifies the current version.
